It’s Back – And It’s Bigger Than Ever!

Get ready for one of Southern Warren County’s most unforgettable summer traditions: the 11th Annual Little Miami Cardboard Boat Regatta at Oeder’s Lake in Hamilton Township! What started with just 11 boats and a few hundred spectators has exploded into a wildly popular event, drawing over 2,000 attendees and more than 40 boats last year. And in 2025? We’re going even bigger.

What Is It?
It’s exactly what it sounds like—and so much more. Build a boat from cardboard, duct tape, contact cement, and pure imagination. Then climb in, set sail, and paddle like your bragging rights depend on it (because they do). Some boats float gloriously to victory. Others... well, let’s just say they make a splash.

Who Can Race?
Anyone 8 or older (as of August 16, 2025) is welcome to join in the fun. Whether you're part of a business team, scout troop, school class, church group, or just want to rally some friends or family, the Regatta is your chance to test your teamwork—and your engineering skills—on the open water.

The Races
You’ll compete in exhilarating bracket-style heats that build to a thrilling finale. Boats range from sleek, single-rider racers to team barges packed with six fearless paddlers. Win or sink, it's all part of the adventure.

And for those who really want to push the limits:

• The Crash Derby – Last boat floating wins. Mayhem encouraged.

• The Hero’s Race – A one-heat showdown for military, police, and firefighters. The trophy (and the glory) await.

• Spectators: Admission is FREE. Enjoy food trucks, bounce houses, and kid-friendly activities while you cheer on the fleet.
